What is this Agatra thing about?

Agatra securely organizes your passwords for sites you routinely log into. It even logs you in to a lot of them automatically. Create an Agatra login and start adding sites today!

Why use Agatra?

Everyone who uses the internet experiences the same frustration with lost passwords. Now with Agatra, you’ll never have to waste time looking through old emails for passwords. Add your passwords to Agatra and never worry about typing them again.

How does “Agatra” work?

We store your username and password securely so you can retrieve them later. If you store a username and password to one of our supported sites, Agatra can even log you in automatically!

Can I trust Agatra with all my passwords?

Agatra uses the blowfish symmetric block cypher encryption technology. It’s so secure that not even employees of Agatra can gain access to your passwords.

What if I forget my pasword to Agatra?

Unfortunately, because your information is stored and used as encrypted information at all times, Agatra will not be able to recover a lost password.

Can I really forget all my passwords?

Yes! Use Agatra as a reference for all your password storage needs. Enjoy the freedom of a password free mind.

Some sites produce cookie errors. What should I do?

Try to log in again. Some sites require an initial cookie to be set before allowing a login.

What is this dialog about sending encrypted information to an unencrypted site?

Although Agatra uses the industry’s highest level of security, many of our partners do not. We can only keep the information as secure as our partners allow, so you might receive a warning that you’re sending data to a lower security site.

How is Agatra different from the password manager on my browser?

You can use Agatra from any computer with an internet connection, not just your personal computer. Agatra takes you directly to the information you care about.

Does Agatra support encrypted (SSL) logins?

In its sleep!

What browsers are supported?

Why isn’t Agatra using SSL?

Agatra is actually using an AES SSL certificate for all pages that require or display sensitive information. All of our other pages use alternative forms of security to validate a user’s identity.

What’s in the works at Agatra?

We’re setting up an XML API that will allow other applications to integrate with Agatra’s secure password storage system.
